The SAG Award nominations for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, Motion Picture match the Academy’s nominees for Best Actor in A Leading Role exactly. Most of the nominations for Best Actress line up, though the Academy nominated Kristen Stewart for her role in Spencer and Penelope Cruz for Parallel Mothers, while the Screen Actors Guild instead nominated Lady Gaga for House Of Gucci and Jennifer Hudson for Respect. Four of the five films that were nominated by SAG for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, Belfast, Coda, Don’t Look Up and King Richard, were nominated by the Academy for the prestigious Best Picture award—House Of Gucci was not.
